Ready for a new rugby season with Old Street in Central London

Club News

After a season where all three Club teams finished higher than they had ever done before – we can’t wait to get stuck into another set of fixtures to see if we can go even better.

In 2022/23, our 1XV finished fourth in Counties 1 Herts/Middx; while the 2XV in their first season in the Middlesex Merit Table Premier finished fifth and won the Middlesex Merit Table Premier KO Plate after a dramatic 23-22 win against New Zealand Kiwis. All while the 3XV narrowly missed out on promotion, ending up fourth after regular fixtures before falling to a strong Quintin 1XV in the playoff final.

Off the pitch, the Club continued to flourish and build lifelong friendships amongst our membership after matches, on tube lines and at the Howl at the Moon on Hoxton Street – culminating in our annual Tour which this time took us to South East Spain and Denia Rugby Club.

We’re always on the lookout for new players – so if you’re reading this, and looking for an inclusive rugby club, with teams available at all levels of men’s rugby – from beginners to those looking to play at a high level – training takes place at Haggerston Park, on the 4G, every Tuesday from July 4, between 7-9pm. Just turn up to get involved, message us on Instagram or drop us an email.
