Ready for a new rugby season with Old Street in Central London

Club News

After a season where all three Club teams finished higher than they had ever done before – we can’t wait to get stuck into another set of fixtures to see if we can go even better.

In 2023/24, our 1XV finished second in Counties 1 Herts/Middx with a 12-game unbeaten streak to end the season, defeating table toppers London Scottish Lions on the final day of the season.

The 2XV continued in Middlesex Merit Table Premier – the highest league they can compete in – while the 3XV narrowly missed out on promotion, losing to Actonions in the Playoff Semi-Final .

Off the pitch, the Club continued to flourish and build lifelong friendships amongst our membership after matches, on tube lines and at the Howl at the Moon on Hoxton Street – culminating in our annual Tour which this time took us to Vilnius in Lithuania.

We’re always on the lookout for new players – so if you’re reading this, and looking for an inclusive rugby club, with teams available at all levels of men’s rugby – from beginners to those looking to play at a high level – training takes place at Haggerston Park, on the 4G, every Tuesday from July 2, between 7-9pm. Just turn up to get involved, message us on Instagram or drop us an email.
